A little about our unique touring holidays exploring the byways of England, Scotland & Wales

Our holiday prices are virtually all-inclusive. They include all transport from the moment you arrive at the appointed station or at your guest house or hotel, all bed, breakfast & evening meals, all excursions and admissions to anywhere we visit, the services of your driver/guide, morning coffee and afternoon tea - in fact, you only need to pay any extra for (optional) lunches and alcoholic drinks!

Our itineraries are intentionally flexible and subject to alteration, contraction and expansion! This policy allows us to try and get the very best out of our holidays and consider such factors as the weather and the needs of the individual guests participating. If however you are particularly interested in a specific listed visit please let us know when you book and we will endeavour to accommodate your request if at all possible.

Unlike coach travel our aim is to show you a small, carefully chosen area of the country from the inside out! In other words we spend as much of our day as possible off the beaten track and on the single track roads and byways exploring beautiful but often relatively undiscovered parts of the countryside. This meandering is interspersed with carefully selected visits that we think you will find interesting - churches, villages, historic buildings, gardens & including some private visits just for Byway! Before offering any holiday we put a lot of time and effort into exploring an area to make sure that when you come on holiday with us we can show you the best bits we have found. Quite often guests will tell us that we showed them wonderful sights of an area that they had quite missed before on previous visits
